About A Metal Kid

What's up Metal-heads? My name is Zach, I'm 19 going on 20 here soon, I'm a Journalism student going to WSU, and I LOVE METAL!!! This music has been a great passion of mine since I was about 12-years-old. The moment I heard the music, I immediately fell in love with it, and that hasn't ceased up a bit; in fact,  my love for it only grows stronger every day! Some of my favorite bands are Fear Factory, Slayer, Slipknot, Cannibal Corpse, Six Feet Under, Rob Zombie, Suffocation, Mushroomhead, Behemoth, Carnifex, and Suicide Silence.  In addition to being an avid listener, I'm also a very committed guitar player. I've been playing for about 6 years now, and have loved every minute of it. Unfortunately, I have not been able to be a part of a band yet. I'm trying to find people to jam with, but it's hard to get people together to do these kinds of things, so I guess I'll just have to fly solo for now. I've started with the creation of this blog because it's assignment for class...duh! However, I really am glad that I have now gotten the chance to create something that's about what I really love, and will be able to share with the entire world! I love talking about Metal; I could do it all day. Now I have that chance, I will capitalize on it as much as I can, and encourage everyone to come in and do so as well. Whether you're a die-hard Metal fan, or maybe just curious about the music and want to get a first taste of what it's like, musically and culturally, this is the place for you!
